On other occasions we have already talked about the importance of exercise. We dare to say that almost 100% of people are aware of the importance that exercise has for our physical and mental health, but what goes through our mind that even knowing the benefits, we cannot incorporate exercise into our lives.

Next, we will talk about the reasons why we were not able to incorporate this important activity and we will look for strategies to achieve it.

  1. You can’t commit to a routine. You start out with a lot of energy and enthusiasm and after a few weeks, it disappears. Something happens that you completely lose interest in exercising. First of all, you must find a sport that you like to do. That is indisputably the first step. If you play a sport that you don’t like, failure is guaranteed. Since you have the sport you like, start with small goals – you don’t want to run a marathon overnight! Meeting small goals will give you the motivation to keep going. There is nothing more discouraging when we start something than setting goals that are impossible to achieve, that demotivates anyone. Once you have set your goals, develop a plan, which is very detailed, but flexible. This plan must include the schedule in which you will attend the exercise, as well as actions in case of unforeseen events.
  2. You can’t see any change. You’ve been exercising for “a month” and flat out, your buttocks are not growing! To avoid frustration, don’t expect amazing results overnight. Better set yourself small goals, perhaps one of them can be to attend the gym every day for a month. Little by little, change your goals, adjusting them. Also do not compare yourself with others. Remember that everyone should pace themselves and set goals based on your own challenges, not on the challenges of others.
  3. You don’t know how to exercise. This is one of the reasons many people quit exercising. Either because they do not know how to exercise and when doing it they get injured, or because they always do the same routine and get bored. If you have the financial means to pay for a trainer, we highly recommend that you do so. He will give you a routine according to your goals and will also be on the lookout to prevent you from suffering an injury. There are also many APPS and videos on the Internet with countless routines, the only drawback is that there is no one to supervise you if you are doing the exercise correctly. But because of the variety of workouts, you won’t have time to get bored.
  4. You feel too tired to exercise. You end up exhausted after work and all you want to do is go home to watch your favorite series. Does it sound familiar to you? That’s right, when we are very tired, we think that by exercising, we will feel even more. The good news is that exercise will help you feel more energetic, relaxed, and in a great mood. You just have to give the happiness hormones produced by exercise a chance to do their job. Find the schedule that best suits your needs. Maybe getting up early and doing an exercise routine, even a short one, will help you recharge your battery throughout the day.

Give exercise a shot, the short-term and long-term benefits are priceless. Just look for what best suits your tastes and needs.
